Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Many of my students are not able to access a good computer to help them with remote learning. They are struggling to keep pace with the current situation and find it nearly impossible to do school work because they are lacking equipment to help with the process.
With NYC public schools being closed students that are disadvantaged do not have people advocating for their needs to help them meet the demands of remote learning.
My Project
With your help my students will be able to continue to work on their projects and assignments the rest of the school year. With our schools being shuttered many students do not have the capability to complete assignments, join virtual meetings and ask meaningful questions through their learning.
This project will allow them to achieve some of the goals I have set out for them to achieve the rest of the year by participating and being part of a broader learning environment.
