As a teacher in a low-income/high-poverty school, I see firsthand the struggles that my students face inside and outside the classroom. My students are excited to learn, but many struggle to stay focused during class. My goal is to find and use a variety of different strategies that can help my students stay focused and increase their knowledge. I have high expectations for my students to achieve, and I want my students to overcome any obstacles that stand in the way of their success!
My Project
Most of my students come from single income homes and do not have the resources needed to replenish the ones used during the school year. Your generous donation would allow my students to have the supplies that they need to finish out the school year.
Toward the end of the school year, basic supplies such as pencils, colored paper, erasers, and glue are depleted and the pencil sharpener has bit the dust.
These items are used for a variety of projects and note-booking throughout the year. The colored paper makes for more interesting note-booking. Please partner with us to get these needed materials.
