My Project

Our school is located in an urban neighborhood in which many families are financially disadvantaged. My students come from a variety of ethnicities and are just beginning their academic careers. It is so rewarding to see how much they have learned already!

I would love to provide my students an opportunity to have their own workbook to practice literacy, math, and writing skills to reinforce their learning over the summer.

This book provides an opportunity to practice their academic skills over the summer. This could prevent or reduce the "summer slide" loss so often seen when they return to school next year. Students will benefit from having this workbook and will enjoy the variety of activities, flashcards, and stickers included to help them maintain and/or sharpen their skills learned this school year.
