My Students

I teach 18 wonderful children in the New York City area. Many of these children come from low-income families and do not have the resources to enhance their academic skills.

These children are fun-loving and full of life, and they deserve to have the resources they need to help them succeed in school.

We have a great school but, due to budget cuts, it's hard to get the funds for the materials we need in the classroom. You can help make a difference in these children's lives.

My Project

In today’s society it’s very important to teach children about healthy snacking choices. Many children come to school eating candy, donuts, chips, cookies, etc. The children do not concentrate as well when they eat sugary, fatty, high calorie foods. These children need to see that poor eating habits will not be beneficial to them. We are learning about healthy foods. Even if children desire something sweet they can get it in a healthy way. We are asking for healthy snacks to keep the children happy, healthy, and to keep their bellies full. Thank you for taking the time to read our proposal.
