This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
If you want to see terrific kids, help fund our project and see the pictures of my class. These children are so fun-loving and full of life. Each day, not only are they learning, I am also learning new things from them.
Many of these children come from low-income homes.
It is very hard for them to get supplies and the items they need to help them in life. They deserve to have the very best. They attend a wonderful school; however, like many schools, money has become an issue.
My Project
Many of my children are in school from 8 am to 3pm. Many times they do not like the lunch and do not eat. They are hungry during the day and I offer them crackers and granola bars. They are tired of eating the same snacks. Many of the children can't afford to buy a variety of snacks. These snacks will help children feel full and be able to concentrate on their work better. Each day when the children are hungry they will be able to choice a snack they would like. Thank you for taking the time to read our proposal.
