My students need snacks and water to have throughout the day for the month of April.

My Students

I teach eighteen wonderful children in the New York City area. Many of these children come from low-income families and do not have the resources to enhance their academic skills.

These children are fun-loving and full of life and they deserve to have the resources they need to help them succeed in school.

We have a great school, but due to budget cuts, it's hard to get the funds for the materials we need in the classroom. You can help make a difference in these children's lives.

My Project

My children have snacks once or twice a day. Many times they ask for a snack to go home because they don’t have any. I always let them take a snack home if they need it. Many children don’t bring a snack to school. I never want the children to feel hungry or left out. I always have healthy snacks and water in my classroom. We are running low. The children focus better when their bellies are full. DonorsChoose has been amazing this year and have donated many snacks to us. We are grateful and hope to have your support so the children will always have snacks.
