I teach 18 wonderful children in the New York City area. Many of these children come from low-income families and do not have the resources to enhance their academic skills.
These children are fun-loving and full of life, and they deserve to have the resources they need to help them succeed in school.
We have a great school but, due to budget cuts, it's hard to get the funds for the materials we need in the classroom. You can help make a difference in these children's lives.
My Project
My children have snack everyday in school. Many times the children do not bring snack. It breaks my heart to see their sad faces when they don’t have a snack to eat. No child should ever have to feel left out or hungry. We need to have a variety of healthy snacks so the children are not hungry throughout the day. Children work better when they are not hungry. The children picked these snacks last school year so I know they are kid friendly. Thank you for taking the time to read our proposal. We are lucky to have your support.
