My Students

Help up make our classroom and lives beautiful with student made art! Our class is in desperate need of art supplies to help us grow in our learning. When kids are given the opportunity to express their learning through art, amazing things can happen.

My classroom consists of a diverse group of students.

Many students come into my classroom that have never held scissors, painted, or drawn a picture. Art is something that is brand new to them. With nine different languages and cultures, my students can come together through art. We love to learn with our hands, and art is great way to do that.

My Project

Our class is requesting multicultural paint, washable paint, paint brushes, texture tools (for paint), crayons, drying racks, poms, felt, tissue paper and other supplies to create meaningful art projects. Through these different supplies, my students will be able to create art projects based on books they have read. The will be able to create art projects based on their similarities and differences. They will also be able to explore using all the supplies. Art is such broad subject that they will experience because of your amazing donations.

Art projects seem to be dwindling in the classroom because they are not aligned with the standards.

I want to create art that incorporates not only the standards, but also all my students imaginations.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
