Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I provide speech-language therapy in a Title I elementary school that serves students from a variety of backgrounds, cultures and languages. This year, I have roughly 55 students on my therapy caseload. My students work so hard towards their speech and language goals and objectives! I'd love to add materials to my previous project, Communication and Crafts!

The terracotta pots requested in this project will allow us to paint small plant pots for students to take home!

The pots requested in this project will actually absorb the paint I requested in my previous project. As my students are working through the Spring Unit this remaining nine weeks, I would like to wrap up the unit by painting terracotta pots. Once the pots are ready, we'll then plant the flower seeds for the students to take home and watch grow!
