My Project

At our school, we strive to provide students with opportunities they may have never imagined possible. We focus on expanding their minds, broadening their experiences, and helping them see their potential beyond the classroom.

One subject that many of my students have traditionally struggled with is math.

I work hard to show them that math is not just a school subject—it is a valuable life skill they will use every day. To make math more meaningful and engaging, I incorporate real-world experiences into our lessons. One of my students' favorite activities is cooking, which allows them to practice measurement, fractions, ratios, and problem-solving in an authentic way.

This year, I was fortunate to provide my students with whiteboard tables, giving them a collaborative space to practice, solve problems, and share their mathematical thinking. As a result, I have seen tremendous growth in both their confidence and achievement.

My students continue to thrive when they have access to the right tools and resources. Comfortable, durable classroom chairs would provide them with a supportive learning environment where they can focus, collaborate, and succeed. New seating may seem like a small change, but it can make a significant difference in helping students stay engaged and comfortable as they work toward their math goals each day.
