This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I always provide students with all the school supplies they need to succeed in the class, but there is one thing that gets overlooked and that is the access for maxi pads and tampons for all girls. I want the girls to feel comfortable in getting maxi pads and tampons when they need it in my class without feeling embarrassed.
All girls should have access to free feminine products in all schools.
As their teacher I want to provide them with the necessities they need and make them feel comfortable to get as many feminine products. My plan is to have all available feminine products in a cabinet for the girls to use when needed. I want them to feel comfortable and not embarrassed to use any of the products.
