My Students
My students come from all different backgrounds and have various personalities. Providing small group support for my students this year will help them grow as leaders and learners in the classroom through me being able to meet them on their specific learning levels. With your gracious donations, I am looking to build up a library of literary and non-fiction texts so I can plan small group instruction accordingly. Also, I would like to find some and nonfiction text that relates to math and science! My students and I thank all of you for your support in advance!
My Project
All students learn and grow on different levels of development, which is why this project will help my students who are struggling and excelling with grade level content. I am an avid teacher of guided reading and believe that each time you work in smaller groups with students it helps them develop as learners. I am hoping to increase the amount of texts available for me to use to plan and enhance my students' learning with these materials. Currently, we have a small library to share with our whole entire school, and it is hard to find materials to meet the needs of all of my students. This will provide an extensive amount of growth, and what student isn't interested in learning from new books!
