This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am incredibly fortunate to work with 155 lively and imaginative students from a low-income area. Despite their challenges outside of school, their resilience and eagerness to learn shine brightly daily. Each student brings a unique perspective to the classroom, enriching our learning environment and making every day a discovery.

We request a MacBook Pro to revolutionize our classroom experience by introducing digital storytelling.

This device will allow students to develop and edit videos, giving them a platform to express their personal stories and learn critical digital skills. Our current resources cannot support video editing software, making the MacBook Pro vital for our project.

Our project aims to boost our students' technological skills and provide them with a creative outlet. By integrating video production into our curriculum, students will gain confidence and proficiency in digital media, preparing them to navigate and influence the modern world.

My students are remarkable for their optimism and belief in the power of their voices. This MacBook Pro will empower them to share their perspectives through multimedia, enhancing their academic and personal growth. It is more than just a tool—it is a key to unlocking new opportunities for students eager to make a difference.
