My Students
My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them. I want them to know that I believe in them and they can do anything.
I teach at a Title I School in NYC where 100% of our children receive free breakfast and lunch.
Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn. Many of them want to be the first in their families to go to college.
My Project
My students are enthusiastic, fantastic and most importantly they want to learn. The school supplies listed in my project will enable me to alleviate some of the burdens parents face at this time of the year. The books, pencils and paper will be used in class for writing, math, science and social studies. The crayons will be used to highlight their imaginations in art.
Other supplies will be used to enhance the classroom to create an attractive and colorful environment for learning.
My school is situated in one of the poorest neighborhoods in NY City. Your help will be very much appreciated.
