My students come to my class with varying ability levels. They come from very different backgrounds and home lives. They always try to do their best in my class.
I want to hear from my students and learn what they know.
I also want them to be able to learn from each other and understand how this can help them be successful in their future education and also in their future careers. I think fostering mathematical conversation is crucial for being successful mathematicians.
My Project
I have added a microphone ball that will allow the entire class to hear great mathematical discussion and thought process. I have also included basic supplies that we use in the classroom every day like tissues, hand sanitizer, and pencils. These are necessities to helping my students every day and they definitely add up!
