This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are a group of aspiring, young thespians who have learned that “the show must go on.” In the world of Covid, my students' learned that "the show must go online." We all share the common mission to grow our theatre program, increase the quality of our performances, and create a community that loves the arts.
My students are so committed to the work and collaboration they do.
There is really no business like show business.
My students are courteous, committed, helpful, and safe. I feel that they are also some of the most deserving. Please show my students that our society values the arts.
My Project
My students have not been able to perform in over a year since COVID-19 turned out to be a true showstopper. As we delve into our first performance since our school has reopened, we need a few resources to help make this show special for all the students who missed out on our shows.
During the intermission caused by COVID-19, our supply of paint dried and left us with no paint to color our sets.
Please help us replenish our supply with this 5 gallon bucket of white paint that can be used to mix with other colors. These resources will allow my students to paint elaborate sets once again and enhance their design capabilities.
