Help me give my students a variety of books that spark their interests along with flexible seating so they can choose where to seat in a comfortable way!
This year I began teaching a 12:1 classroom in my school- the first time this type of classroom has been in my building for a few years.
Due to opening up a new classroom, I am in need of some materials.
I am looking to expand my classroom library with books of interest and readiness levels for my students! In particular, graphic novels, and books of diversity to engage them in reading success.
Additionally, stools and flexible seating to support their learning processes. The students require comfort and a quiet place so they can read successfully- so these stools will allow them to find a place that works best for them.
My Project
These materials will help my students increase their reading stamina because they have books that they want to read! I chose this books based on their reading levels and their interests so they can enjoy fiction and non fiction reading!
Additionally, the stools and seats will allow them to move around the room to a comfortable and quiet space so they can stay focused for longer periods of time!
