Help me give my students snacks to fuel them through the first quarter of school. They also need a class set of headphones, especially for when we use text-to-speech options or watch educational videos.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are at a magical age where they are becoming more independent while still loving to learn through hands-on discovery and creative projects.

The resources I'm requesting are essential for their success.

The snacks are crucial because many of my students don't have access to nutritious food at home. A hungry student can't focus on science or the history of our state. These snacks will not only give them the energy they need to get through the school day but also provide peace of mind, knowing they have what they need to learn and thrive.

The headphones are also a vital tool. They will allow students to engage with our curriculum in a personal way, whether they're listening to an audiobook, watching a video about science, or using a text-to-speech program to help them read a difficult text. Having a quiet space to listen and focus can make a huge difference, especially in a busy classroom.

With your help, we can create a classroom where every student is well-fed, focused, and ready to learn.
