Hello! I have been an educator for 20 years in the Milwaukee Public Schools. I am currently a teacher in an early childhood autism unit. My students have varying abilities and needs. They are changing every day, and I am amazed by the growth that I see in them!
My students have a variety of needs, and I want to help them learn to their fullest potential.
Having hands-on experiences that connect to academic experiences will give them better access to the curriculum and give them the best academic start.
My Project
My students are learning at home through virtual education. While at home, many of my students do not have access to quality art supplies with which to get creative.
My students need quality art supplies, like tempera art sticks and tissue paper squares, so that they can engage in the school curriculum through artistic expression and creativity.
The students will get to use different collage materials to create a special pot for growing a plant in in the spring.
I can't wait to see how my students are able to create with these art supplies!
