My students need seat sacks in order to learn to organize and be responsible for their learning materials. As a class we need a way to keep our limited work spaces neat and clean.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students: I teach 22 bright, eager kindergarten students in the city of Newark, NJ. They want to learn and I want to give them every opportunity. Unfortunately I lack the means to provide them with adequate hands on learning experiences within our classroom.
I am truly blessed with a group of students that are full of energy and eager to learn.
I try to give them the affection, encouragement, kind words, and the guidance that they need. They haven’t allowed their adverse circumstances detract from their interest in learning. They have drive and potential on par with students from the wealthiest of schools. What they lack is in the environment. I want your help to level the playing field and give my students the classroom that they deserve. The materials that I am requesting would help to do just that.
My Project
Two of the most important things that my students need to learn are organization, and responsibility. I am requesting a seat storage sack for each student. This would provide my students a place to organize their supplies. This would not only encourage responsibility and organization, it would also help to free up much needed work space in our classroom.
With these chair storage sacks, students will build organization skills that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.
These sacks will also help to free up some much needed work space allowing us to spend less time cleaning and organizing and more time learning.
