My Students

It is such a pleasure to teach my students. I work with students who have special needs or requirements or just need a little extra help.

My students work so hard to improve their reading and writing skills, and they put in extra time at home and in school!

I have students who range from 2nd to 5th grade. We try to catch them early to make sure they get the literacy and writing skills they need to succeed in all areas of life and learning.

My Project

I work with the resource students in an elementary school. These students often have the most difficulty with written expression, and I work with them to improve that and their reading in general.

Having Chromebooks will allow my students to both type and dictate their stories so that we can focus on that specific skill on its own.

My students are learning how to organize their thoughts and ideas and to put them together into a story or other piece of writing. Chromebooks will help them tremendously with this organization and also with the actual production of the writing. They can either keyboard or dictate using the microphone in google docs, so they can concentrate on the topic and not worry about handwriting at that time.

The copy paper we will use to print their work so they can share with their parents. I am excited for the confidence it will give my students when they can produce their stories, in a clear, organized manner, and see for themselves their work!
