My students need many art supplies that will last them throughout the year. These include art paper, colored pencils, washable markers, crayons, watercolors, paint, oil pastels, scissors, glue sticks, paint brushes, a paper cutter, and more.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My group of students is diverse and enthusiastic. Many of the students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds, and 75% of them receive free or reduced-priced lunch.
My students are so ready to learn and love to create.
Each student is unique in the way they learn. I envision a classroom in which students have fun every day. I strive to provide exciting, motivating, and inspiring experiences in which children can grow. Integrating the arts is a great way to do this!
My Project
My students need art supplies to engage in lessons and to be creative. Many of these supplies will be used on a weekly basis. I plan to integrate art into as many lessons as possible because it is a great motivator and a way for students to be creative.
Art allows students to learn in a different way; it allows them to express themselves, to innovate, and to connect with material on a deeper level.
Students will be drawing, creating dioramas, making collages, collaborating with peers, and even creating gifts for parents with the requested art paper, colored pencils, washable markers, crayons, watercolors, paint, oil pastels, scissors, glue sticks, paint brushes, and paper cutter. My goal is to encourage students to love art and learning and to see themselves as artists so that they may continue to be creative throughout the rest of their lives. I believe this is something that will make them better people in the long run. I need your help to give this to my students. Thank you so much!
