Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are excited to learn and ready to be pushed academically.

Our school focuses on classroom community, academics, and social growth.

Even in trying circumstances, these students are fearless, they are incredible to work with and their contagious smiles are just an added bonus. My students are enthusiastic, kind and extremely curious. They do best when they are given the tools to help them to understand important concepts in a variety of ways. It's my job to challenge them with appropriate materials that they don't have access to at home.

My Project

In order to be an effective teacher, I need a new easel that will meet my class's needs. The easel that I am requesting has two dry erase boards, is magnetic, has tubs for storage, and holds big books.

Having a two-sided easel with magnetic dry erase boards will be an amazing teaching tool.

I can prepare multiple activities and provide students with the opportunity to work on various tasks. One of the boards is lined and will help with interactive writing. In addition, since it can be hung vertically, it can be used in math when learning place value.

One of the most important elements of the easel is that it is magnetic. We will do a lot of word work with magnetic letters and it is crucial to have a place to use them. The big book storage will allow me to keep the big books in a place where they can be easily referred to. Big books are used to teach various lessons and having them displayed on the easel will make them easier to use as a whole group. The tub storage is an added benefit of the easel. The tubs will hold various manipulatives and teaching tools that we use on a daily basis. This easel will meet many of our classroom needs.

My students will greatly benefit from this easel.

Thank you for your support in providing my students with the best learning environment!
