I work at a great Title I-funded school, where our students often lack access to basic supplies.
I've got great activities planned for students to do in conjunction with our English texts and lessons (draw your own "Hero's Journey" to pair with The Odyssey, use figurative language to make a Valentine), but we desperately need some supplies to make this year as engaging as possible.
We'll need colored pencils, markers, and scissors to complete projects like this.
This project will supply everything I need to support my 6 classes throughout the year and help get students up, active, and learning.
