Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class is full of very sweet children who are eager to learn after not being in the classroom for 2 years. They are in a Title I school and our supplies are limited. My goal is to get all of my students reading by the time they leave me this year.

My Project

This will be used during my small group and reading circles. My students are struggling to stay focused and always need to be moving. These chairs will help them to not only look forward to coming to small groups, but also to get some wiggles out. This is a good outlet for the students who have not had to sit still for long periods of time since the closure of our schools two years ago. Students are expected to transition right back into the learning environment that they are not used to anymore. Hopefully this will help them!
