My Project

It is reported that 40% of households struggle to afford basic needs. Students spend the majority of their time at school, like a second home. I want to help support my students and families by providing support here at their "second home".

If basic needs are not met, then thinking and communication can be challenging.

Many students come to school cold or without snacks. I would like to have a variety of snacks available for my students, grades PreK to 5, to fill their tummies and be able to provide warmth to their bodies!

I want to provide warmth from head to toe to my students. Socks, hats, and gloves are always needed! Cold and wet weather is a constant in Wisconsin! Many kids either forget or do not have these items when they come to school! When your body is warm, more learning happens!
