Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love learning Spanish in engaging ways.

They love learning the language and about the Spanish-speaking cultures by reading interesting books rich in vocabulary and cultural details.

Our school lacks the funds to offer Spanish books in our school library. That is why it is my goal to work on bringing Spanish books to our own classroom library through donations, so my students can enrich their language learning by reading interesting books.

My students appreciate having a Spanish library in our classroom and having time daily to read. They love taking turns reading aloud with their classmates, and quiet reading time.

It is important to offer students a variety of titles that are culturally inclusive, and share the stories of different cultures. Thank you for supporting my goal and for supporting language learning.
