Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are the best, but many do not know where or when their next meal is coming. During the school day, which is 7 hours, students are consistently learning which is great, but their brains and bodies get overwhelmed and exhausted. Snacks help them take a needed brain break or regain focus by focusing on reminding them of why education is essential.

The SSSC is a credit recovery program.

We want to give our students everything possible to reach their highest potential and a snack will do just that!
