Help Me Launch My First Kindergarten Classroom!

Help me give my students crayons, markers, glue sticks, pencils, construction paper, dry erase markers and scissors that will support hands-on learning and help them build a strong foundation for success.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a first-year kindergarten teacher, I am excited to welcome a new group of young learners into my classroom. What makes kindergarten students so special is their curiosity, creativity, and excitement for learning. For many of my students, this will be their very first school experience. My goal is to create a classroom where every child feels safe, supported, and encouraged to explore, create, and grow into a confident learner.

The supplies in this project will help turn everyday learning into hands-on experiences that build essential skills.

Crayons and markers will allow students to express their creativity while strengthening the fine motor skills needed for writing. Glue sticks, scissors, and construction paper will help students participate in engaging projects that reinforce literacy, math, science, and social-emotional learning concepts. Dry-erase markers and erasers will provide students with opportunities to practice letters, numbers, sight words, and problem-solving skills in a way that is interactive, fun, and easy to correct as they learn.

My hope is that these classroom essentials will help create a positive learning environment where students develop a love of school from the very beginning. By providing these resources, you are helping young learners build confidence, creativity, and foundational skills that will support them throughout their educational journey. Thank you for helping me create a classroom where every child has the tools they need to learn, succeed, and dream big.

Note: I have been newly hired as a teacher for the upcoming school year and will use these materials in my new classroom as soon as classes begin.
