My Students

Our K-6 students are "starving" for more books!! Do you know what it feels like to really want a candy bar and not have one available? That's what our children feel, when they finish a great book and can't find another one in their level or interest.

We have students in kindergarten through sixth grade.

It is so hard to get enough books to cover that wide reading range. By the time we get a few for each level, we have maxed out what we can spend. Our children use the Accelerated REader program and are reading in an appropriate level for success.

My Project

Adding more books to our collection will make it easier for the students to find books they have not already read. A lot of our students have read everything from our library that is in their current reading level. They love holiday and sports books, so this list does include many of those.

Please help us "FEED" our students.

They are begging and "starving" for more to read. As their librarian, I do feel responsible for not being able to give them enough to read. Please help me satisfy their individual cravings and donate anything you can to help. Enter SPARK at checkout to help more!!
