Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The items on this list are to help me build my very first classroom. Everything is designed to facilitate a classroom that will help put my student's learning first. Chalk markers will help me create the seating charts for each unit and allow students to share their ideas on the lab benches. The colored paper will help me make my science word wall, small group signs, and reusable printed materials. The stickers and little erasers are just the little things to help make learning fun.
A well organized and stocked classrooms helps student focus on their thinking and reasoning as they tackle learning new material, how to read and present data, and their place as global citizens.
These items, like whiteboards, will help students share out their thinking after turn and talks and small group work.
