My Students

My students are hard-working, energetic, fun, loving, and hard-working kids who give me their best effort each and every day. My students never say they can't do something they persevere and find a way! I am their voice and they are my motivation!

My Project

These alternative seating materials will help my students be successful in the general education classroom all day. This way they don't have to be removed to the special education setting and they can be in an inclusive environment all day. Taking a child out of the general education setting is not always the right answer. Even at a young age, they question why do they have to go. Helping the students to be successful in the general education classroom builds self-esteem and self-worth and a sense of community and belonging. A sense of acceptance and love.
