This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first graders are creative, energetic, and love to have fun!

Instead of hearing groans about not going outside for recess; we will hear cheers.

We live in the midwest and sometimes it is too cold to go outside for recess. Imagine how excited they will be to get to play with Legos.

They will be so excited to show me what they created during indoor recess. Some kids have talked about wanting Legos at home and they do not have any. The first graders will be thrilled to have this to play with at school.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
