As a former military woman, I am honored to teach the children of men and women who are protecting our country.
I teach second grade at a school located within a proud military community in South Carolina.
My students love learning and technology is a big part of our learning environment. These little people enjoy using technology, however, a very tight budget is limiting the amount and type of technology that is available. The school will be terribly underfunded this year and there is no room in the budget for our much wanted and needed technology center. The school is fortunate enough to have supportive parents who try to help out whenever possible however, money is tight for these hardworking parents as well.
My Project
My students need Chromebooks to create a technology center. The center will be used for creating a learning environment that will enable my students to compete and thrive in a global environment that is dependent upon the knowledge and use of technology. The students will benefit from this project because it will be used in all subject areas and will be useful for many years and help hundreds of students. Your help will ensure that my students have every opportunity to succeed in life. Education is the key to success. Please help us obtain this much needed technology center and experience the joy of learning.
This project is important because it will help prepare our children be the leaders of tomorrow.
