My students need five more graphing calculators so we have a complete classroom set for Algebra II and AP Statistics.

I teach at a small rural school in Oklahoma. We have been very blessed by the awesome donors at donorschoose.org. So far this year we have obtained 15 graphing calculators through this site. With this final step each of my students in both AP Statistics and Algebra II will be able to have a graphing calculator in his hands daily!

At the start of this year my Algebra II students did not have access to a graphing calculator. They had to do all problems by pencil and paper. This put them at a disadvantage when attending academic competitions and when taking the SAT, PSAT and ACT tests.

Since the start of this year the awesome donors at donorschoose.org have purchased 15 graphing calculators for my classroom. It is amazing how having access to these calculators has changed my students outlook on coming to class. With five more calculators each student will have one in his hands everyday.

I hope everyone who chooses to donate to this project, or any other project on this site, realizes how much they are impacting the students involved. During the current situation of negative news and negative economic reports nightly it's great to be able to be able to show students positive impact that is being made on their behalf.
