This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
If you want to see terrific kids, help fund our project and see the pictures of my class. These children are so fun-loving and full of life. Each day, not only are they learning, I am also learning new things from them.
Many of these children come from low-income homes.
It is very hard for them to get supplies and the items they need to help them in life. They deserve to have the very best. They attend a wonderful school; however, like many schools, money has become an issue.
My Project
Some of the children in my class are homeless and live in shelters. Many children do not have a backpack to come to school. Every child should have a backpack. They shouldn’t have to carry things in their hands. Each child also needs a rest mat for rest time. It breaks my heart when they have to lay down without a mat. Brushing your teeth is very important. My children need tooth brushes and tooth paste. You can help the children feel good and ready to go to school. Every child should have the basics to go to school. Thank you for taking the time to read our proposal. My children will benefit greatly from these items.
