This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom is filled with students who are enthusiastic about learning and producing their best work. For the students to continue to create their work and projects we must have the supplies on hand. As it is the 2nd half of the year the supplies they use daily have become low in stock. As a teacher and parent myself, I want to make sure every child is given the tools they need to be successful in completing their vision.
Students love to create and express their work through art and providing the students with more materials will enhance their ability to do so.
Students engage in centers and many times they use materials like dry-erase markers, sentence strips, and index cards to practice skills in new exciting ways. Allowing students to have access to different types of paper allows them to express their ideas in different ways. This class is so special in their desire to want to create and move forward in their educational experience so I hope we can get together to provide them the materials they need to do so!
