My Students

I teach 18 wonderful children in the New York City area. Many of these children come from low-income families and do not have the resources to enhance their academic skills.

These children are fun-loving and full of life, and they deserve to have the resources they need to help them succeed in school.

We have a great school but, due to budget cuts, it's hard to get the funds for the materials we need in the classroom. You can help make a difference in these children's lives.

My Project

Many of my children come to school without a jacket or maybe it’s ripped or doesn’t fit them properly. They also wear jackets that are not warm enough. It is very cold in New York and the winter has just begun. No child should ever be cold or wear something that doesn’t fit right. It’s very hard to get a four year old to concentrate on there work when they are cold. You can help parents pick a jacket of fleece to keep their child warm. Every kid that needs a jacket will get one. Thank you for taking the time to read our proposal.
