My Students

My students all have difficulties coming to school prepared on a daily basis. Any little noise can cause distraction and make them lose focus. They all come from very different backgrounds, and a lot of them struggle for basic necessities at home.

Our school is a high poverty school.

My students are learning in a variety of ways! My students ask me specifically for ways to help them focus better. They want to learn and do well. My students need new books to help them to use their skills and become better readers!

My Project

My students lack in the social studies skills. In the general education curriculum, it is integrated within their language arts. However my students with special needs often miss that.

Help my students get map skills practice, vocabulary skills, and Scholastic News to supplement their skills to continue to grow their knowledge.

My students struggle with reading and writing. They often will show behaviors instead of getting work done. These books would help my students access content they wouldn't normally be able to access otherwise. Help my students learn more about the world around them! Any little bit could go a long way!
