My Students

Our school, although high performing, is part of a Title One district where a majority of students are under-performing.

Since the students at our individual school perform well on state tests, we are not given extra or additional funds for supplies that are provided to our neighboring schools. Our school is K-8 and services a variety of diverse learners. Currently, 59% of our students receive free and reduced lunch. Our English Language Learner population makes up 17% of our students and the numbers are growing every year. Therefore, I must ask for your help.

My Project

Our school needs a site subscription to BrainPop Jr, BrainPop, and BrainPop ESL to increase understanding of difficult concepts in an engaging and interactive manner.

BrainPop will help support learning for all students at our K-8 school, including our English Language Learners.

This site offers interactive and engaging videos and games that will help support 21st century learning. BrainPop focuses on supporting all students across all subject areas, including science, math, and reading. With this school-wide subscription, students will be able to use their personal logins to access BrainPop at home and receive additional support for homework assignment and difficult concepts.
