Help FUEL Our Future
My students need a new laptop computer and Apple TV reciever.
So many students! Such little room! With a class full of 32 students it is difficult to find space to add technology to the classrooms. Fortunately laptops are a big help for this problem.
I am a teacher in a self-contained classroom.
I work in a high poverty school with a wide variety of home environments. My students come from single parent homes, military families, foster homes, and migrant farm workers. My students are curious and eager to learn but lack many of the resources needed to develop their technological skills
I am requesting a Macbook laptop and the Apple TV receiver to allow my students to fully utilize all the technology help that is available to them. With only two working computers in the classroom it often happens where half my class is unable to use the computers during the week due to lack of time. With this new laptop we can get more of my class computer time to work on their skills that are lacking. With the Apple TV receiver we will be able to show what is on the computer up on the front board through our projector. Now instead of one student looking at the screen, we can have the whole class involved.
There is a multitude of extra support available to students.
However, it is only helpful if they are able to access that support. With your donation you will be helping my students gain that access.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
