Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My fourth graders are inquisitive and ready to learn! They love school and want to be lifelong readers. My students come from diverse backgrounds and bring all different kinds of stories to school. They work hard every single day. We love to read and learn!
My Project
Our library at school cut funds and can't order new books this year. I am requesting the new Bluebonnet books and more to help instill lifelong readers to my students. Fourth graders are blossoming into young readers and starting to discover chapter books and the adventures that they bring. It is so important to open their minds to all different kinds of books. They are multi-genre which will help reading comprehension and help students find a love for reading. We always need donations to our class library to help us with new books. Thank you!
