Help Fix Our Broken Pieces

Help me give my students the items they need to replenish their materials in our class.

My Students

My students come from low income families. They do not have many opportunities to experience all that the world has to offer them. It is my job as their teacher to teach them reading and social studies, but also to expose them to the different things that the world has to offer them.

They need to know that there is more out there than just what is in their neighborhood.

I want them to be curious learners, always seeking new and different experiences.

My Project

As is expected, things that are well used tend to break eventually and will need to be replaced. We use our clipboards on a regular basis and they have lasted a good long while, however it is time to replace quite a few of them. I would love to have clipboards that double as whiteboards so that we can get two uses out of them.

We also could really use more Bouncy Bands to get the extra energy out that they have in them while trying to get work done.

My students love being able to use the bands while working but some of them are starting to break from usage. We would love to be able to replenish our stash of extras so that no student has to be without one.
