My students especially love using the poster boards and colored paper to create enticing expressive projects, and the chart paper has made our collaborative jigsaw activities much more engaging. The laminator has also been a huge help; we are now able to preserve student work and reuse materials throughout the year, which keeps out classroom organized and allows me to keep student work displayed. \r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, my students were genuinely grateful. many of them had worried that they might need to supply project materials themselves, so they were relieved and excited to see that we had everything we needed to continue our hands on learning activities. It meant a lot to them to know that people outside of our school community cared about their learning experience. \r\n\r\nRight now, we are working in our government unit, and students are using these materials to create posters about influential people in government/political roles throughout history. We will be building a model of the earths layers to hep learn about the law of superposition. It involves food, so the students will get to eat it when we are done.
