My students love reading. Every chance they get they have a new book in their hands reading it. They read about nature, science, fiction and fantasy.
As a first year teacher, my classroom library is not plentiful.
I have very few books and my students find themselves reading the same ones over and over again.
I would really love to add some new and exciting books to my library for them! And I hope that doners can make that a reality!
My Project
My students need a variety of reading material to stimulate their imagination. It will give them a wide range of holiday, fiction and non-fiction books to choose from on a daily basis.
By filling my library with the books such as The Very Busy Spider, Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs and The Gingerbread Man, it will make my students excited and eager to read!
Also, it will help them with their reading fluency and vocabulary and learn about new genres.
It also gives my students a chance to choose books that interest them, and in the end enhancing their reading abilities.
