My Project

I have an amazing group of 7 and 8-year-old students in my classroom. They are very eager, hard-working, and have endless amounts of energy. They are willing to try anything and are always up for new challenges. My students are some of the most amazing kids I have ever met. They have lots of energy, and have so much fun playing at recess. However, we are in desperate need of new playground equipment. Our playground balls have been lost, or popped, and our jump ropes are all broken. By receiving play equipment, my students can have more options to keep them exercising at recess.

In the classroom, we have a money reward system.

Students can earn money, and can use that money to purchase rewards. We would love to add more items to our prize bins. By receiving more incentives to purchase, my students will be more motivated to stay on task. These items will help encourage classroom participation, as well as participation on the playground.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
