Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our critically ill and medically fragile students need classroom basics. They need bags, post-it paper pads, and colored markers.
Students like to use colored markers for writing.
Having their supplies makes learning engaging and fun.
My students are my heroes. They love to learn new things and read interactive books.
Most of my students are from low-income households. They are the most inspiring people I've ever met. They are brave. I work with students in grades K—12 who have serious medical issues. All of my students come to school ready to learn. It is a joy and a privilege to work with these students. Each day, they try their best in school.
All of my students are a pleasure to work with. In addition to their serious medical problems, most of my students reside in high-poverty neighborhoods. My medically fragile students need interactive learning materials.
