This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

If you want to see terrific kids, help fund our project and see the pictures of my class. These children are so fun-loving and full of life. Each day, not only are they learning, I am also learning new things from them.

Many of these children come from low-income homes.

It is very hard for them to get supplies and the items they need to help them in life. They deserve to have the very best. They attend a wonderful school; however, like many schools, money has become an issue.

My Project

My children need plates and napkins for snack and lunch time. Many of the children use there shirts and sleeves to clean their hands and their mouths. I ask the children why they don't use paper towels and they tell me how paper towels are hard and they don't like them. The children are right they are hard. When they have a sandwich they take it out of their bags and place it on the tables. We are trying to teach the children to keep there food clean and safe by putting it on a plate. We have run out of plates. Please help us keep the classroom and children clean. Thank you for taking the time to read our proposal.
