My Students

I remember the first year I was approached to mainstream special education students into my class. I was afraid that I was unable to meet their needs but have found that they are inspirational and make me a better teacher.

My wish is that we can increase the ability to access technology during my Science and Math time.

We work in small inquiry groups as I am teaching them to be young researchers. My students are interested in gaining information through Internet inquiry and I am ready to fuel their passion.

My Project

We have resources available such as Study Island and modules from a specialized grant but do not have the technology to access these items. A laptop would enable my students to increase their inquiry skills and work together to build their social skills.

In times of change, learners inherit the earth; while the learned find themselves beautifully equipped to deal with a world that no longer exists.
