Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first-grade classroom is a busy place where learning happens every day—and having access to a reliable printer would make a tremendous difference for my students and me!

I am requesting a Brother monochrome laser printer and toner to help me print the materials my students need throughout the school year.

As a first-grade teacher, I print phonics activities, sight-word practice, differentiated reading materials, math practice, assessments, parent communication, classroom resources, and hands-on learning activities on a regular basis.

With many of my students learning English as a new language, having the ability to quickly print additional practice and visual supports is especially important. A dependable classroom printer would allow me to respond to my students’ individual learning needs without having to constantly search for access to a school printer.

A laser printer is also an economical choice because it can handle the large volume of printing our classroom requires while helping reduce the ongoing cost of ink.

Your support would give my students greater access to the resources they need to learn, practice, and grow. Something as simple as a printer can become an everyday tool that helps make learning more accessible and engaging.
